CAUTION: When used on a swimming pool gate, always consult local authorities for swimming pool Codes. A gate stop must be installed when using SF models. Gate must not be allowed to open past 90˚. Doing so voids warranty.

This box works in conjunction with the SureClose ConcealFit Aluminum Post-Side Gate Weld Box For Closer And Hinge at the top of the gate and post. To install, weld the box to the gate to suit the profile of the fence. Once the weld box is securely in place, the hinge and hinge-closer are then inserted into the matching boxes. *Please Note: Gate will not hold open at 90 degrees (making it okay for use on pool and child safety gates). SureClose SF models require a separate gate stop to be installed to prevent the gate from being forced past 90 degrees. Recommended opening setting is 85 degrees to take into consideration possible installation abnormalities. To properly install this gate closer, you will need to purchase the D&D GateStop - Soft, Quiet Gate Closure - TCGS3 sold separately. Absence of a gate stop will void warranty on this product. D&D recommends installing the gate stop at the bottom of the fence post if gate is lower than 84" (210cm).
