BEA’s IS40 / IS40XL are dual technology sensors designed to provide motion and presence detection in industrial applications.

The standard IS40 can be mounted from 8 feet to 16 feet to fit any industrial application. For lower mounting heights, BEA’s IS40XL can be mounted from 6 ½ feet to 11 ½ feet.

Housed in a rugged IP65 rated enclosure, the IS40 / IS40XL will operate in harsh environments, capable of withstanding damage caused by wind-blown dust and rain and hose-directed water.

BEA’s FOCUS FAMILY consists of focused active infrared-based presence sensors designed to effectively detect people and objects. These compact sensors can be used in a variety of applications where space may be limited or additional detection is required to complement pre-installed sensors, such as on revolving doors where pinch-zone protection is needed.

The FOCUS 2 offers the same protection as the FOCUS but can be recess mounted.

The SMART FOCUS provides internal and external self-monitoring. Single button setup ensures easy installation in most common applications.

The FOCUS FAMILY can be used on revolving doors, drive-thru windows, and in industrial applications such as gate and access control.

BEA’s Eagle Family of motion sensors is designed for the activation of automatic pedestrian doors.

The Eagle is universally compatible with all makes and models of swinging, sliding and revolving automatic doors. The Eagle HM has a mounting height of 13 to 16.5 feet, making it ideal for use on large-format doors in industrial environments.

Unidirectional radar increases energy efficiency by detecting approaching traffic while ignoring motion away from the door.

BEA’s COLIBRI ONE is a motion sensor designed for the detection of pedestrians, slow moving vehicles and other objects in motion.

COLIBRI ONE has the sensitivity to detect objects moving as slow as 2 inches per second; and its compact size makes it a perfect motion detector for any commercial or industrial application, both indoor and outdoor.

Along with common pedestrian and industrial applications, this sensor has been used in custom mass transit configurations on trains and buses.

BEA’s BODYGUARD-T is an overhead presence sensor designed for pedestrian automatic doors.

The BODYGUARD-T provides threshold protection during the door open state. It is designed to prevent a closed door from opening and an open door from closing when a person is in the detection zone.

The sensor is easy to install and adjustments can be made by using the BEA remote control

*** To use the Bodyguard-T sensor with unmonitored door controls that supply AC voltage or unfiltered DC voltage, the Rectifier Module (Part # 20.5411) must be used with the sensor to disable the monitoring function.

BEA’s LZR^®-WIDESCAN is a LASER-based, Time-of-Flight sensor used for motion, safety and presence detection in a variety of industrial door applications. This highly-configurable solution offers the benefits of activation and safety, while reducing installation time.

This IP65 rated sensor creates a volumetric detection area by generating seven angled LASER curtains. It has the ability to detect objects based on direction, speed, object size and height. The LZR-WIDESCAN detection field operates independent of ground conditions, allowing for superior functionality in harsh environments.

Easily configure sensor settings with the LZR-WIDESCAN mobile app. The mobile app provides a complete view of sensor settings, from field configurations to immunity.

BEA’s FALCON FAMILY of sensors is the premier microwave activation solution for indoor and outdoor industrial applications. The family includes the FALCON, FALCON XL (extra low mount) and FALCON WIDE (for wide detection areas).

BEA’s FALCON FAMILY is ideal for automatic industrial doors, vehicle gates / barriers, vehicle detection, loading docks or any other industrial application where motion detection is required.

Housed in a NEMA 4 rated enclosure, the FALCON FAMILY is designed to operate in harsh environments.

BEA’s LZR^®-H100 is a LASER-based Time-of-Flight sensor designed for gate and barrier applications.

This solution provides four LASER-based curtains, offering a three dimensional detection zone for accurate object detection. Its detection curtains are highly-configurable and can be set up for activation and presence detection in vehicle sensing applications.

The LZR-H100 is an effective alternative to induction loops and is housed in an IP65 rated enclosure, further ensuring its performance in outdoor environments.
