DKS 1815-282 MM 6800 AWID Prox Card Readers are designed for use in mullion mounts for access control applications. They have a read range of 6-8 inches, and are designed to be compact, durable and easy to install. They are touchless devices that read the credentials of a token or proximity card when it's within the detection radius. They use a re-preset mode that requires the user to remove the card from the reader's field before the card can be read again. This feature eliminates multiple reads from a single presentation of the card. Read ranges are not absolute and will vary depending on several factors including where the reader is mounted, the mounting surface and product application. Minimum order for special coded cards is 100. Warranty: 5 year limited factory.
